Kolberg (1945) is a German historical war drama and Nazi propaganda film directed by Veit Harlan. It was one of the last major feature films produced by the Third Reich (filmed 1943–44, released 30 January 1945). Shot in Agfacolor at enormous expense (around 7.6–8.8 million Reichsmarks), it aimed to boost German morale and encourage total resistance (“Durchhaltefilm”) as the Allies closed in
