Mr Finck,my input on repentance: my first thoughts after you demanding repetance: you righteously refer to scripture, yeah the famous verse you referred to. Beautiful but at the same time somewhere a verse without meaning. I think we must examine this verse more closely to comprehend its meaning. Examining the specific verse in the context of jacob's recorded history in the old testament. I mean for example the wellbeing of the 12 tribes may not depend on repentance from ordinary people. The God of Israel may prefer calling out certain chosen ones from among his people. Like Elijah, who smashed the false prophets. That's what convinced the people to change ways.
