The Idea of Israel 7: The Meaning of Israel

I will be live tonight at 9:00 PM EST to finish the book "The Idea of Israel in Second Temple Judaism". This will conclude the 8th Reichstag book club (finally). I'll discuss Chapters 10 and 11 which deal with narrative, eschatological, and apocalyptic literature and how they looked at the concept of Israel vs the concept of jew. Then we will cover the conclusion chapter to sum up my thoughts on the book. I'll also discuss a few other topics on Social media before we open the main topic.
