About Coir Cath

"Coir" is ancient Scots Gaelic for "Just" or "Righteous" while "Cath" is ancient Scots Gaelic for "Fight" or "Battle" The double meaning is intended. And so in my small way, that's what I'm trying to do. To contribute what I can to the great battle of our time. The “Righteous Battle” of our people against extinction. Most songs I write will be in that vein, though I may create some just to make my wife smile or to make my friends laugh. The music I create is made with an eye towards reaching people who aren't already fully in the camp. The messages are there, and not even subtle. I just try to deliver them "artfully" so as to not scare away people who aren't yet ready for the unvarnished message. I don't expect that would have been a problem here of course, but my hope is that songs like mine will pull people from more mainstream platforms and bring them to places like this.
